The magic of solomon was based off of a Magical Secret. This is the secret: One can invoke the demons in order to obtain a holy and clean soul. Solomon was said to have considered that there were many demons within himself which had to be evoked to visible appearance, ie. invoked. Then these invoked demons were given a chance for redemption, or conversely, a chance for being cast out of Solomon's body forever and bound in the Brass Vessel by the power of God the Almighty One. It is to commemorate this wisdom tradition that certain christians originally learned the art of Exorcism. This was corrupted into something much less meaningful by contemporary christian "teachers" if you can call them that. However most of them have one tooth and a dog with no balls and one eye named 'lucky'.
